What horticulture products can one grow now since the rainy season is coming to an end?

This was a question was posed in one of our WhatsApps groups-

Answer:

I have already addressed this question in one of my articles – Vegetable calendar, but for the benefit of those who might struggle to interpret the tables and charts, here is the response. Yes, rainy season is coming to an end and as we approach winter, it would be dry and cold, unfavourable conditions for most crops. Truth be told, you are running out of time but you can still put some seed in the ground. You have a 3-month window period for that crop to make it to maturity and that’s enough if you start now. The list goes like-potatoes, tomatoes, cabbages, broccoli, carrots, lettuce, onions, cauliflower, peas, spinach and herbs. Let’s get started!
