You can give your free-range chickens almost everything from your kitchen waste, right? The only thing that you are hesitant to give them are the egg shells. Reason being, once they enjoy the taste, they wouldn’t mind getting the eggs for themselves without waiting for you to give them. I always felt like i was wasting feed when i would throw the shells far beyond their reach, and i was right. Did you know you can burn these egg shells and crush them, making them as fine as possible and this can make an excellent source of mineral? Just mix it with the feed and you are good to go😉?
