Whenever you notice an animal exhibiting signs that it’s about to give birth, don’t keep it out of your sight. Sometimes the animal might need assistance during the process and if you are not there to help it, the life of either the mother or the new born is threatened. One farmer had to learn it the hard way. They took the doe to the pastures when it was very clear as day that it wasn’t going to last the day. When it was time to take the goats back to their shelter, they realized the doe had given birth to triplets but 2 of the kids were dead. What a loss. No one could really tell what had happened but had they been there during that time, chances are they would have saved the little ones. Don’t be that farmer.
